TUTION AND FEES

FEE POLICY

At The Base Performing Arts, fees are charged on a term basis. Term fees are due by the first Friday of each term. For families who prefer a more flexible payment option, we offer a weekly Direct Debit system. Please note that in 2025, all direct debit payments will incur a surcharge per term.

TERM INVOICE

Each family will receive a term invoice one week prior to the start of each term. This invoice includes weekly class tuition according to the classes you have enrolled in + annual concert/showcase fees.

PLEASE NOTE: Students who pay their enrolment fee on or after December 21st will be subject to the increased tuition rates.

ADDITIONAL FEES

All additional fees (such as costumes and performer fees) will be invoiced separately or sent via a payment link. These fees must be paid by the specific due date provided with each invoice.

PAYMENT

Families have the option to pay the term invoice in two ways:

Full term payment

If choosing to pay the term in full, Payments must be made by the first Friday of the term. Failure to pay on this date may result in a $10/week late fee being applied.

Please note: We are no longer offering discounts on fees that are paid upfront. Sibling discounts will only apply to families with children enrolled in three or more classes each.

Weekly via Direct Debit

The term invoice is split and deducted every week over 10 weeks. Payment must be made via our third party direct debit company. Payments will be deducted on a weekly basis which will occur Friday of each week. Direct Debits will only be deducted from the authorised account that is listed on the Direct Debit form. All direct debits in 2024 will incur a $10/term surcharge.

All families are required to confirm their preferred payment method before classes begin. This helps us manage fees efficiently each term. Please provide this information when completing your agreement forms.

If you choose the direct debit option, we will contact you to set it up and provide you with a payment schedule.

DISCONTINUATION OF CLASSES

If at any stage you/your child wishes to discontinue a class, you will be required to submit written notice (via email) to [email protected]. Please note, that if your child decides to discontinue after the commencement of a term, you are liable to pay the remainder of the term.

Please note that discontinuation of a class may jeopardise the routine they are in. All Performance Team students must continue their compulsory classes until the end of the eisteddfod season.

ADDING OF CLASSES

If at any stage your child wishes to pick up a class you will be required to submit written notice (via email) to [email protected] prior to a new term commencing. So that classes remain undisturbed students can only start a new style of class at the beginning of a new term.

Special Note: No changes may be made to you/your child’s classes after week 9 of term three. Classes that are set at this point of term three will remain in place for the third (3rd) and the fourth (4th) term. Fees for classes that are booked in the third (3rd) term may continue to be deducted for the remainder of the year, regardless of the classes and concert routine/s your child decides to participate in, as costumes will have be arranged and preparation for the end of year concert will have already commenced.
