At The Base Performing Arts, we are dedicated to maintaining the high standard of teaching and the exceptional studio environment that our students and families enjoy. To ensure this quality while keeping fees reasonable, we operate with a small, focused admin team.

We work diligently to automate processes and provide easy access to all the information you need. A lot of effort goes into preparing our admin resources between terms, so we can focus on what matters most (our students) during the term.

Before reaching out via email or text, we kindly ask that you first check our mini-site/s to see if your question has already been answered. You can also ask in the Band app, where another parent/teacher might be able to help. We check the Band app at least once a day.

If you still can't find what you're looking for, email is the best way to contact us ([email protected]). If you'd prefer to speak with someone, simply send a quick email to arrange a convenient time to chat.

Please know that we strive to respond as promptly as possible, but there may be times when our focus is needed elsewhere in the studio. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Studio Updates & Announcements: Band provides a dedicated space for class-related communication. It’s where you’ll receive announcements, class info, and alerts, all in one place.
Videos, & Music: Teachers share performance team videos and music so your child can practice routines at home.
Class Conversations: Use Band for class-related discussions. Please note that administrative inquiries (e.g., fees, payments, uniforms, and enrolments) should be directed to our admin team via email.

The DSP Parent Portal is your all-in-one platform for managing your child’s dance experience. From class schedules to event calendars, it’s designed to keep everything you need at your fingertips.

Getting Started
1. Download the DSP Parent Portal app
2. Important: Do not create a new account. Please use your current log in details to sign in.
3. Once logged in, please check that your child is enrolled in the correct classes to ensure accurate term invoicing. If you notice any discrepancies, contact admin as soon as possible.
